My first GameJam
Well i really want to try and make sure to make a devlog for each game i create i want to look back at them.
This was my first GameJam and i have to say its a lot of fun, i was not in a good place in terms of set up for this one but that is something to learn from.
it was a two week gamejam and i took that for granted and did not work on my project often enough, i had to let the game come out early, but i knew i would not have time to clean it up more then it was not with out major over all.
I need to leave better notes for my self. I need to better set time that i want to use to work on my gamejams, so i know i have a good amount of time to start working on it. not so much the plan stage, but the code and building stage i need to get more of the game done in big chunks and not little chips. this was my first time trying to build some kind of enemy logic and while it did work its not the best. so i will need to work on that in future projects.
its a simple game and that is what it was meant to be, i'm happy i was able to make a game that is something that can be played fast and easy. you can lose and get a high school. and that is some thing that matters to me.
